2 Top Couples re-advance, 1st Lady cross over to join 2nd couple on left of 2nd man
2 2nd couple retire, 1st man stays in centre
4 1st man dance a highland step (or set twice) as 2nd couple/1st Lady advance and retire
4 1st man dance a highland step (or set twice) as 2nd couple/1st lady advance and form a circle with 1st man
4 Top couples circle left part way, retire to opposite place with partner
4 Top couples dance Half Right and Left to return to place
4 All set to corners (men set twice, ladies use slow quadrille setting - step,together,step,lift to R then L)

The original dance was arranged from a set of Edinburgh Quadrilles (1817) found at the Castle of Invercauld, near Balmoral.
