| First there was Tumbleweed Blue Moon CD
aka Fang.
Her life was tragically short but memories of her are permanent. Fang was
special. Very special. ... And I never discovered where she found that
bone. |

Not long after Fang died, a colleague wandered in to my office and dumped a
pup on my desk. I was working at the Hawkesbury Agricultural College at
the time and livestock in the College Library was not unusual. Wathagurra
Bonny Blue aka Barra went home with me. Barra was about thirteen
years old when this photo was taken and her face was white with age. She
was nearly fifteen when she died |

| Barra's first litter included Aust Ch Tirlta Rexie
aka Dougal,
owned and exhibited by Narelle Robertson. Aust Ch Tirlta Missie, Dougal's sister,
gained her title in Wayne Carter's ownership but later joined Narelle's Kombinalong
Kennels.

of Fang. But Duffy, too, died prematurely. |

High on the Role of Honour: Dual
Ch (O) Tirlta Blue Yuranigh aka Maddie; owned and trained by Sue Dickerson. Despite
detiorating vision, the result of prcd-PRA, Maddie qualified for her dual title in September
2002. To to awarded the title of Dual Ch (O), a dog must first gain its
Aust Ch and UD titles. It must then qualify in five more obedience trials,
at Utility level, with a score of 185 points or more, and be placed first in ring at
three of these.
